Drowning in Fabric

Forever cleaning, organizing and creating

January Goals

Well, I am out of town most of January, so not a lot is going to get done except planning. I am participating in 2 swaps and a round robin this month, so the minute I get home I have to get cutting and sending. The swaps I am participating in are a Lizzy House Pearl Bracelet charm swap and a Tula Pink 10 inch swap.

I am also trying to start my own F8 swap. I chose this size, because I have a hard time finding things to do with the little charms, but it is still small enough to get a good swap yield without having to buy a ton of fabric. My first swap is a black, white, and grey and tonal swap. Please spread the word.

I am participating in Quilts from My Crayon Box’s mini mystery round robin this year. It is my first round robin, but looks fun and like it’ll give me some good experience. I am still deciding what block to do, but I plan to use it as the center of my 3×6 bee blocks. I will do another post about that when I get all my blocks from this round so I can add pictures. But anyway, I need to figure it out and get it sewn up so I can get it in the mail by the end of the month.

That should really take care of January. I don’t even think I will get to my BOM this month, so I am already starting behind. 😦  No more signing up for swaps right now either! I just can’t seem to pass them up, but I have a fortune in swaps right now. Gotta use them!
